City Council's Responsibilities

  2. Budget and Finance: The City Council is responsible for adopting the city’s budget, overseeing financial expenditures, and ensuring fiscal responsibility. This includes setting tax rates and managing municipal resources.
  3. City Services Oversight: The Council oversees the provision of city services such as police, fire protection, public works, and parks and recreation. They ensure these services meet the community’s needs.
